History

CARFED started its activities in the 1969 by a first Monoblock live chicken crate.

Then in the years other live chicken crates and live turkeys crates were made in addition to the first collapsible crate named MONDIAL*CARFED, of cms. 80x60x28.

Requirements of International markets pushed then to get as well wider collapsible crates for chickens and turkeys/ducks , respectively MULTI 100/ 110 ,named “T” for turkeys and ducks.

In September 1997, considering 98 % of export and possibilities of further huge developments, CARFED SAS become a Swiss based company as CARFED SA with anyway all productions in Italy.

Finally on 01/01/2021 CARFED SA became CARFED International Limited based in London ; production facilities always in Italy.
